About Me

I’ve always had a love for nursing since early childhood, following in my mother’s and grandmother’s footsteps. I pursued my passion and enrolled at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. I became a Registered Nurse in 2010, earning my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Memphis. Soon after starting my nursing career, I aimed for advancement in the field. In 2015, I completed my Master of Science in Nursing degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I am chemotherapy and biotherapy certified, and I’m soon to receive my AOCNP certification.

For 7 years, I worked in inpatient medical oncology, focusing on all cancer populations. Since 2018 until 2024, as a nurse practitioner, I’ve been in outpatient medical oncology, concentrating on breast cancer, head & neck cancers, and lung cancer. In January 2025, I joined the GYN-ONC team at West Cancer Center. With over 15 years in oncology, I’m passionate about early detection and educating the community on preventative cancer screenings and awareness.

It’s crucial to me to provide education to underserved populations who may face barriers to care or hold misconceptions about health and healthcare systems. My goal is to advocate for these communities and share my knowledge to improve future health outcomes for all.
