In a new article highlighting the importance of inclusive clinical research, we have been recognized as 1 of the 4 inaugural sites of Genentech‘s Advancing Inclusive Research® (AIR) Site Alliance.
The article highlights how our research team identified an eligibility requirement in a breast cancer study that was disproportionately excluding Black women. Our team’s feedback helped prompt a closer review of these criteria and contributed to changes that are helping make future clinical trials more representative of the patients they are designed to serve.
We’re so proud to see our team’s work recognized on a national stage — and helping shape better research for patients everywhere.
