Phyllis Fiveash, ANP-FNP

Phyllis Fiveash, FNP-BC, is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner.  She has worked in oncology since 2012.  She is a member of the Mississippi Nursing Association and the American Academy of Emergency Nurse Practitioners.  She joined west cancer center in 2012 and has since provided care for curative and metastatic patients undergoing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and endocrine therapy as well as those in surveillance.  She also provides acute care services to the cancer patients.  She works at the Corinth, MS office with Drs. David Portnoy, Sameer Nasir, and Mark Reed.  She is passionate about caring for her patients beyond their cancer diagnosis.  When not caring for patients, Phyllis enjoys spending time with her husband Nick and her daughter Nora Kate.  Her family is active in their church and community.  

Education/Training:

  Phyllis studied nursing at a local community college and graduated with an Associate of Science in Nursing Northeast MS Community College Booneville, MS.  She went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Nursing University of North Alabama Florence, AL and Master of Science in Nursing Union University Jackson, TN.
