About Me

Dr. Linda Han is a board-certified breast surgeon with over 20 years’ experience as a leader in surgical education, quality improvement, and specialized patient care. She joined the team on October 21, 2024, from Parkview Cancer Institute in Fort Wayne, IN where she was director of Breast Oncology, chief surgery quality and optimization officer for the health system, and adjunct clinical professor of surgery in the School of Medicine at Indiana University. She has successfully developed and led multi-disciplinary Breast Oncology programs in academic and community health systems.

Following undergraduate and medical school training at Indiana University, Dr. Linda Han completed her surgical residency at The Ohio State University. She was director of Breast Surgical Oncology and co-director of Breast Oncology at Indiana University Simon Cancer Center, professor of Clinical Surgery at IU School of Medicine, and section chief of Breast Surgical Oncology. While there, she established a breast cancer survivorship plan, recognized nationally as best practice by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers.

In recognition of her excellence in education and mentorship, she has received numerous teaching awards from medical students, residents, and faculty and was recognized nationally by the American Medical Women’s Association as Mentor of the Year. Reflecting her commitment to patient care, Dr. Han has been selected by her peers, colleagues and patients as Best Doctor.

Dr. Han remains committed to advancing new techniques in Breast Surgical Oncology. She has been a course director and faculty member teaching advanced oncoplastic techniques to trainees and surgeons. As a Key Opinion Leader in breast care, she is a consultant and medical advisor to organizations involved in and committed to providing the best care to breast cancer patients.
