Here at West, we believe that diversity, equity, and inclusion are critical to reducing cancer disparities.

On Friday, March 3, Dr. Gregory Vidal led a workshop called “Conversations for Change” aimed to encourage conversations about prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer to primary care providers in our community.

Discussions included:
– Diagnostic Standards for Ruling Out Cancer Genetic Testing in Diverse Populations
– Financial Toxicity in Cancer Care
– The Importance of Empathy in Cancer Care Compliance and Adherence

Recorded sessions are now available on demand.
