What do I need to do before attending Orientation?
You need to complete your New Associate on-boarding requirements. These may include physical, background check, education and employment verifications, reference checking, and pre-employment paperwork.
What if I am unable to print, upload, or understand a required document?
Contact your recruitment team. We will be happy to set an appointment to come into the office where we can assist you.
Where and when should I report for orientation?
Upon completion of your pre-employment requirements, your Recruitment team will contact you with all of the details regarding orientation.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring the following items with you to your pre-employment physical:
- Appropriate original copes of identification for the I-9 form Requirements are on the final page of the form. (Note: please bring 2 forms of identification if you are selecting from lists B and C)
- Your Social Security card
What should I wear to orientation?
Dress is business casual for the first day. That includes khakis, slacks, and shirt with a collar. No sneakers, flip flops sweats or jeans. You may want to bring a sweater or jacket in case of temperature change inside the auditorium.
Your department will advise you on its dress code standard (uniforms, etc.) once you report for your first day at your unit or office.
What should I expect at orientation?
You will participate in discussion and activities designed to give you an understanding of the mission, vision and values of West Cancer Center. Representatives from several key departments will come to meet you and explain a little about their role at the Center.
You will also have an opportunity to network with your fellow new hires and gain valuable information about some of West Cancer Center’s strategic initiatives.
