Who is Eligible to Receive Palliative Care Support?

Any of our patients that are struggling with symptoms and side-effects of cancer or its treatment, regardless of the stage of illness, are welcome! Our team is here to help you and your family are face tough symptoms or tough decisions.

Palliative Care gets involved in a patient’s cancer journey for 1 of 2 reasons: 1. Tough symptoms, or 2. Tough decisions

 

Palliative care doesn’t always mean “end of life care.” If a patient has difficult symptoms such as nausea or pain, or if there is a difficult decision to be made about what treatment is most helpful for the patient, our West network offers palliative care to address these barriers to ease the cancer journey and promote quality of life.
