Dr. Todd Tillmanns has been appointed by TN Governor Bill Lee to serve as a member of the 12-person State of Tennessee’s Board of Medical Examiners!
Established in 1901, the Board of Medical Examiners has a primary mission to safeguard the well-being and safety of Tennessee residents. This board plays a critical role in granting licenses to qualified individuals who have graduated from accredited medical institutions and have fulfilled the necessary postgraduate requirements. It also interprets laws, rules, and regulations to determine the appropriate standards of practice, thereby ensuring the highest level of professional conduct within the medical field.
The Board is responsible for investigating reported violations of the Practice Act and associated rules, as well as taking appropriate disciplinary actions against licensees found guilty of such violations.
