About Me

I am an nurse practioner at West Cancer Center & Research Institute and joined the team in 2009. I was drawn to oncology after developing a special relationship with the first cancer patient I took care of nursing school and never looked back! I worked at Kingsport Hematology/Oncology in Kingsport, TN before I came to West. I am passionate about education and teaching an have presented locally and nationally on various oncology topics and written multiple articles and book chapters for ONS and JADPRO over the years.

Outside of work I enjoy reading, being outdoors, spending time with my family and anything UT (Go Vols!)
