We are so proud to announce the launch of a groundbreaking clinical study with IceCure Medical, making our network the 1st U.S. clinical site for the company’s ProSense® cryoablation technology.
The ChoICE Study will evaluate the use of ProSense® cryoablation in low-risk breast cancer patients, enrolling approximately 400 patients across 30 clinical sites nationwide. This important research will help gather real-world data and advance the use of innovative, minimally invasive treatment options for eligible patients.
This technology, which has received FDA approval for use in patients age 70 and older with low-risk breast cancer, offers a potential alternative to traditional surgical treatment by using a minimally invasive approach designed with patient experience in mind.
The study within our network will be led by Dr. Richard Gilmore, breast surgical oncologist, whose expertise and leadership will help advance research focused on improving breast cancer treatment options.
