What is Brachytherapy?
Brachytherapy is a type of radiation treatment that delivers radiation directly to the area where cancer is located. Using the Geneva Applicator along with MRI imaging, our team can more precisely target the cancer while helping protect nearby healthy tissue.
What does this mean for patients?
This means a treatment plan carefully designed around their individual anatomy and their cancer. The radiation itself is delivered in ~5 minutes, and patients are not radioactive after treatment.
